LUBÁLI Frankincense

LUBÁLI frankincense, also known as Omani Hojari frankincense, comes from the Dhofar region of Oman – one of the few places in the world where Boswellia sacra trees grow naturally. The resin crystals from this region are considered the gold standard of frankincense, thanks to their higher oil content, purity and deeper fragrance. These trees thrive naturally on the rocky, sun-scorched mountain slopes along the Oman–Yemen border, making the harvest rare and unique.

Boswellia sacra resin has a calming, mild and freshly woody scent. Although the trees grow far away in the Middle East, the fragrance can transport you to the serene stillness of Estonian pine forests.

High-quality frankincense is recognized by its larger crystal size and whitish or yellowish color.
As it is a natural resin, small traces of wood may be present – a mark of hand-harvesting that does not affect its quality or aroma.

1. Light a charcoal tablet and place it on a fireproof surface.

2. When the charcoal turns grey (after 3–5 minutes), place a resin piece on top – a pea-sized amount is sufficient.

3. If the resin piece is larger, break it down by hand or with scissors.

4. As it melts, it releases its characteristic aroma.

5. If the scent becomes too sharp, move the resin gently on the charcoal with a fireproof tool.

6. When the smoke fades, remove the residue and, if desired, add another piece.

After use, wait at least 1 hour before disposal to ensure the charcoal has fully cooled.

Store charcoal tablets in a dry place.

Note: Although Boswellia sacra resin is sometimes used in supplements, LUBÁLI frankincense is intended only for burning.
